Principal--Mr. Ronnie Hewitt

I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the principal of Brown Middle School. I chose to be part of this incredible community because I deeply believe in the potential of our students and staff. I am fully committed to the success of our school and excited to continue growing alongside the dedicated educators, students, and families we serve.

 

With 18 years of experience in public education, my journey has taken me from the classroom to school leadership. I began my career as a middle school teacher, instructing both Social Studies and Math. Also serving as a National Board and AIG teacher and serving as school administrator in grades Pre-K through 8th grade

I am humbled to currently serve as the 2025 Piedmont-Triad Region Principal of the Year.

 

The educators who supported and believed in me made a lasting impact, and I strive every day to be that same source of support and inspiration for our students. I believe that all students can succeed when given the right tools, support, and learning environment.

 

I am proud to lead Brown Middle School. Together, we will continue to build a school where every student can thrive.
