Classroom Expectations and Procedures

Rules/Procedures for Classroom Participation:

                In order for our band to be successful, it is essential that certain rules are established and maintained. By following these rules, we will set a standard that leads to excellence.

• Follow All School Rules!
• Be on time! (that includes having all necessary materials out and ready before class starts)
• Treat all classmates, directors, instructors, and interns with respect.
• If it’s not yours, don’t touch it! (Students should handle only the instruments assigned to them. No sharing instruments, and only percussionists should touch the percussion equipment).
• ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, DRINK, or GUM in the band wing. The only exception is water. We allow students to bring bottles of water – no flavored water.
• Treat instruments and equipment with care.
• No cell phones, iPods, iPads, or any other non-school issued electronic device may be visible in BMS.
